5 Ingredient Air Fryer Flour-less Chocolate Cake

  • 10 large bananas
  • 10 teaspoon cocoa powder
  • 4 tablespoons honey
  • 8 large eggs
  • 1 large avocado


  1. Preheat air fryer to 360°F.

  2. With the exception of the avocado, place all of the ingredients in a blender, blend until you have a smooth chocolate cake mixture.

  3. Put enough mixture to one side to use as icing for the cake and divide the rest into two baking tins (small enough to fit into an air fryer).

  4. Place tins in the air fryer for 35 minutes at 360°F.

  5. Remove the cakes from the cake tins and allow them to cool on a wire rack.

  6. Add the avocado to the remainder of the cake mixture in the blender and blend until you have a thicker pasty mixture.

  7. Spread a thin layer between the two cakes, use the rest for a chocolate icing around the cake.

  8. Refrigerate for an hour or so to set the icing.

Recipe Notes

If the chocolate icing is not thick enough, add a little more avocado to thicken, or if the icing is too thick add a little water to get it to the right consistency.
