Air Fryer Flour-less Crispy Chicken Nuggets
I found this recipe for Air Fryer Flour-less Crispy Chicken Nuggets, by Samantha and Dominic over at Recipe This, and thought I would share. Cooking times may vary depending on your model of Air Fryer.
- 1 chicken breast
- 1 beaten large egg
- 1 cup gluten-free oats
- 1 tablespoon thyme
- 1 tablespoon parsley
- salt and pepper to taste
Preheat air fryer to 325°F
Place chicken breast in blender, or food processor, until it resembles minced chicken.
Place in a mixing bowl ready for making chicken nuggets; set aside.
Place your egg in a bowl; set aside.
Blend oats in a blender or food processor until they resemble bread crumbs.
In the bowl of minced chicken; add salt, pepper, parsley and thyme and mix well.
Grab a chicken nugget size piece of the chicken mixture and using your hands turn into desired shape.
Place it first in the blended oats, then the eggs and then back in the oats again.
Continue until all minced chicken is used and all your nuggets are ready to be air fried.
Place all the chicken nuggets on baking sheet of your air fryer.
Bake at 325°F for 10 minutes.
Remove from air fryer and allow to cool slightly and serve with your favorite condiments.
